Overview
Gloto developed custom websites, mobile experiences, and applications for nationally recognized brands. I joined in January 2012 as director of client services and project manager, and in May 2014 I moved into executive operational leadership as executive vice president and operations manager, a role I held until June 2016.
Challenge
Delivering custom digital products required continuous coordination between clients, engineering teams, and company leadership. As the business grew and took on more enterprise accounts at once, operational consistency became increasingly important.
My role
I managed client relationships and project delivery, connecting customer requirements with technical teams and leadership. I also supported the user interface, user experience, and usability testing work that shaped what we built. As EVP, I took on broader responsibility for the company’s daily operations, processes, and organizational effectiveness across the software development lifecycle.
Approach
I established clearer delivery practices, introduced agile ways of working, maintained client communication so that nobody was surprised, and helped coordinate projects from scoping through release.
Outcome
I supported digital delivery for clients including Marvel, the NBA, NBCUniversal, Wyndham Worldwide, and Google, while helping strengthen the operational practices needed to support multiple enterprise accounts at the same time.
